Heat rash

Development of skin damage in the diaper region is a consequence of environmental factors. These factors include: Increased skin hydration with diapering, facing skin irritants (urine, feces, digestion enzymes, gall salts, nutritional factors etc.), mechanic friction (skin to skin, skin to diaper),

Heat rash

In order to prevent it, prefer using a superabsorbent diaper, and change diapers frequently. In order to protect the skin against irritants: Barrier creams which create a semipermeable film or layer; water and cotton for urine cleaning; cleaners with soft formula for gaita cleaning should be used, the region should be left open after cleaning and dampness should be prevented. There is no consensus on if these products should be used routine or in the event of damaging. Since superinfection can easily develop on rash, antifungal and antibacterial medicines should be included in the treatment where required, and topical corticosteroids should be avoided.
