Active Ingredients:

Fruit acids: Malic acid, acetic acid, quinic acid.

Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C): 0.2-1.4%

Flavonoids: Kaempferol, isorhamnetin, quercetin, tri and tetra glycosides.

Carotenoids: Beta and gamma carotene, lycopene

Oils (12% in seed): Oleic acid, isolinol acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid. [4].

Effect and Areas of Use:

Buckthorn oil accelerates recovery of wounds. It recovers the damage caused by rays that the skin is exposed to. It is effective for skin cracks. It protects the skin against UV rays. It protects from the sun. It recovers redness on the skin. Buckthorn oil is an important source of Omega-7. Omega–7 (Palmitoleic acid) is particularly beneficial for the skin structure.
